Darian Kinnard, who was born on December 29, 1999, is an offensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League.
Kinnard has been with the Chiefs since 2016. His college football career at Kentucky. Kinnard was born in Youngstown, Ohio, but spent the majority of his childhood in Knoxville, Tennessee, before moving to Kingsport, Tennessee, to attend Dobyns-Bennett High School there.
After completing his freshman year, he relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, where he started attending Saint Ignatius High School. Kinnard was a participant in the All-American Bowl that took place in 2018.
After considering offers to play collegiate football from Penn State, UCLA, and Tennessee, Kinnard chose to make his commitment to the University of Kentucky.
As a true freshman, Kinnard participated in nine games and started twice in two of those games. During his sophomore year with the Wildcats, he started as a right tackle in all 13 games the team played.
Prior to the beginning of his junior year, CBS selected him as a preseason All-American and also named him to the preseason All-Southeastern Conference team.
During the 2022 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected Kinnard in the fifth round, giving them the 145th overall pick in the draft.
