Darrian Beavers is a linebacker with the New York Giants of the NFL. He is 1.93 m tall and 116 kg in weight. He participated in football at Colerain High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a wide receiver and safety. Three times he was given the Varsity Starter Award, and in his senior year he was recognized for having a 4.0 GPA.

He committed to play NCAA football for the UConn Huskies and the University of Connecticut. He played two years for Connecticut before moving to the University of Cincinnati in 2019. Over the course of those two years, he participated in 24 games, starting six of them, and recorded 38 tackles and 7 sacks.

At the University of Cincinnati in 2019, he took part in all 14 games, starting 10 of them. He completed 36 tackles in total, 1.5 of which were for a loss, and two quarterback hurries. He was chosen for the 2019 AAC All-Academic Team. In 2020, he made 10 starts and recorded 58 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 2 interceptions. He started games in 2021 and was a finalist for the Dick Butkus Award.

Beavers was chosen by the New York Giants with the 182nd overall choice in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. In week two of the preseason against the Cincinnati Bengals, he tore his ACL and was placed on injured reserve.
