Faion Hicks is an American football cornerback who currently plays for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. Hicks was born on September 17, 1997.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in football, he was selected by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft 2022.
Hicks was ranked as a three-star recruit coming out of high school by 24/7 Sports and Rivals.com. He received 10 offers, including ones from Appalachian State University, Iowa State University, and Wisconsin University.
In late 2016, he made a commitment to play for the Badgers, and he began his college career the following year.
During the 2022 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected Hicks in the seventh round, giving them the 232nd overall pick in the process.
On August 30, 2022, he was released from active duty and then signed into the practice squad the following day. Hicks received his secondary education at Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
While there, he rushed for 1,356 yards and 13 touchdowns on offense, and on defence he collected 75 tackles and seven interceptions.
As a senior, he was recognized by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel as being selected to the All-Broward County second team.
During his sophomore and junior years, he received honorable mention All-Broward County honors.
