American football player Geno Stone is a safety for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens. He stands 1.80 meters tall and 94 kg. Geno played wide receiver, quarterback, and defensive back for the football team at New Castle Junior/Senior High School.
His senior year saw him earn first-team All-State honors for his 97 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, three sacks, and 10 interceptions. He played football for the University of Iowa’s Iowa Hawkeyes after graduating from high school. He participated in each of Iowa’s 13 events as a freshman. In his second season, he was promoted to the starting lineup after compiling 39 tackles and a forced fumble.
The Big Ten Conference recognized him with an honorable mention. Geno declared that he would forgo his final year of NCAA eligibility and instead declare for the 2020 NFL Draft following the 2019 campaign. The Baltimore Ravens selected him in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was reinstated to the practice squad two days after being discharged in October 2020.
In November of 2020, he was added to the Ravens’ active roster before being once more cut in December. On December 29, 2020, the Houston Texans selected him off waivers. He agreed to a one-year deal in March 2021 to join the Ravens once more. He received an exclusive rights free agent tender from the Ravens in March 2022.
