Greg Van Roten is a member of the Buffalo Bills’ football team as a professional player. He performs the duties of a guard. When he was 11 years old, he started football. At Mineola, New York’s Chaminade High School, he participated in football. He attended the University of Pennsylvania after high school and played collegiate football there for the Penn Quakers team from 2008 to 2012.
He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Marketing Concentration from the University’s Wharton School of Business. He was also an active member of the fraternity Delta Tau Delta and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
In July 2012, when he received his degree from the university, the Green Bay Packers signed him. For the Packers, he appeared in a total of 10 games. In February 2014, he was released. He joined the Seattle Seahawks in the following month, but was fired in August of that year. In February 2017, he agreed to a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but was fired in May of the same year.
He was acquired by the Carolina Panthers in July 2017. He signed a three-year contract with the New York Jets in April, ending his tenure with the Panthers in 2020. The Jets released him in May 2022. In June 2022, he agreed to a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills.
