Jordan Stout plays professionally as a placekicker and punter for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He is 95 kilograms and 1.91 meters tall. He attended Honaker High School and was raised in Honaker, Virginia.
As a senior, he made all nine of his field goal attempts and averaged 47 yards on each punt, earning him the title of Tigers team MVP. At kicker, he was three times chosen for All-State. He played football for the Virginia Tech Hokies from 2017 to 2018 while attending the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University after graduating from high school.
He was a walk-on who redshirted his first year of eligibility. As a redshirt freshman, he had 60 touchbacks on 71 kickoff attempts, making him a kickoff specialist. He opted to transfer to Penn State after the season, where he had been awarded an athletic scholarship, and registered on the NCAA transfer website.
He played football for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2019 to 2021. He was selected as Penn State’s kicker prior to the start of his redshirt senior season, making him the first player since Chris Bahr in 1975 to handle kickoffs, field goals, and punts for the team. He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
