Kyle Finnegan is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Washington Nationals of the Major league Baseball. He was born on September 4, 1991, in Detroit, Michigan, and is currently 30 years old.
Finnegan attended high school at the Kingwood High School in Kingwood, Texas, and enrolled at Texas State University where he played college baseball. In his sophomore year, Finnegan appeared in 15 games which he started 14, and threw 8 innings twice against UT Arlington and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Finnegan does not have a girlfriend but the Nationals pitcher is currently married to Rachel Finnegan and the couple has three kids. His wife Rachel has appeared in the news a few times when the couple welcomed twins, Cooper and Carson in 2021.
Finnegan began his career when he was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the sixth round of the 2013 Major League Draft. He also pitched for the Vermont LakeMonsters of the Class A-Short Season New York Penn League and the Beloit Snappers of the Midwest League in the same year.
In 2014, he was promoted to play with the Midland Rockhounds of the Double-A Texas League where he had a 0-1 record with an 11.81 earned run average. Later in his career, he played for teams like the Stockton Ports (2015), Naville Sounds (2017), AZL Athletics (2018), and the Las Vegas Aviators (2019).
He was signed by the Washington Nationals on December 9, 2019, and made his major league debut the following year against the New York Yankees.
