Linebacker Luke Gifford plays for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. At 1.91 meters in Height, he weighs 110 kilos. He played tight end and safety for the football squad at Lincoln Southeast High School. He played a part in the team’s 2011 state championship triumph as a sophomore.

He received a spot on the second All-Nebraska team during his junior year. He attended the University of Nebraska following high school on a football scholarship. In his junior year, he played outside linebacker and started seven games. The Dallas Cowboys signed Gifford as an undrafted free agent after the 2019 NFL Draft. In 2020, he took part in 8 games, mostly on special teams. He was classified as out for the first game of the season with a hamstring issue.

After the NFL fined him two games in November 2020 for violating the organization’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs, he was forced to sit out Weeks 12 and 13 as a result. In March 2022, he re-signed with the Cowboys for a single season.
