Matt Vierling is an American professional baseball outfielder and first baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).
His native St. Louis Cardinals selected him in the 30th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft, but he did not sign with the team and kept his commitment to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Vierling began the 2021 season as the club’s lone-listed outfielder at Double-A Reading.
