Nick Sandlin is a baseball player who was born in America. He pitches for the baseball team called the Cleveland Guardians. He weighs 77 kg and is 1.80 meters tall.

On January 10, 1997, he was born in the American city of Evans, Georgia. He played high school baseball for Greenbrier High School in Evans, Georgia. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he played baseball for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

He played for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks during the 2017 Cape Cod Baseball League’s summer collegiate baseball season. He won multiple awards during his tenure in college, including the Conference USA Baseball Pitcher of the Year Award, the National Pitcher of the Year Award from Perfect Game/Rawlings, and the C Spire Ferriss Trophy, which is given to Mississippi’s greatest collegiate baseball player.

The Cleveland Indians picked him in the second round of the 2018 draft. They offered him a $750,000 signing bonus after he joined them. He made his professional debut that year with the AZL Indians, Lake County Captains, Lynchburg Hillcats, and Akron Rubber Ducks. In the 2019 minor league season, he played for the Akron RubberDucks and Columbus Clippers.

He did not play in a minor league game in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 delaying the start of the season. In April 2021, the Guardians promoted him to the major leagues, and on May 1, 2021, the team’s game against the Chicago White Sox served as his MLB debut.
