Noah D. Davis is a professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies. Although attending Huntington Beach High School in Huntington Beach, California, Davis previously played for the University of California, Santa Barbara.
In 2017, he did take part in the Cotuit Kettleers’ collegiate summer baseball program of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He pitched in three games prior to undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2018.
In the eleventh round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft, he was nonetheless chosen by the Cincinnati Reds. While playing with the Arizona League Reds in 2019, Davis made his professional debut and was later promoted to the Billings Mustangs.
He pitched for 42 and a third innings for both teams, going 1-3 with a 3.19 ERA with 35 strikeouts. Due to the minor league season being postponed in 2020, he did not participate in any games.
Davis started his 2021 season pitching with the Dayton Dragon.
In exchange for Mychal Givens, the Reds traded Davis and Case Williams to the Colorado Rockies on July 28, 2021. He finished the season after being assigned to the Spokane Indians. In the 2021 season, he was added to the Rockies’ 40-man roster.
