Bryan Enrique Abreu is a pitcher with the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball wearing jersey number 66. He was born in the Dominican Republic on April 22, 1997.

In November 2013, Abreu agreed to terms with the Houston Astros as an unrestricted foreign free agent. With the Astros of the Dominican Summer League in 2014, he made his professional debut, going 0-2 with a 6.55 ERA in 22 relief innings.

In his first 14 games back in the DSL in 2015, he pitched to a 2-2 record and 3.83 ERA (ten starts). He started the 2016 season with the Greeneville Astros before being transferred to the Astros of the Gulf Coast League. He had a record of 2-5 with a 4.89 ERA in 38.2 innings.

He pitched for the Tri-City ValleyCats and the Quad Cities River Bandits in 2018, posting a 6-1 record with a 1.49 ERA across 14 games. He returned to Greeneville in 2017, going 1-3 with a 7.98 ERA in eight games.

After the 2018 campaign, the Astros added Abreu to their 40-man roster. He started the 2019 season with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers before being promoted to the Corpus Christi Hooks, who also happened to be the team for whom he was selected as a Texas League All-Star.

The Astros promoted Abreu to the major leagues on July 31, 2019. That evening, he pitched a scoreless inning of relief pitching to make his major league debut.

He was optioned back to Double-A Corpus Christi the next day. Abreu had trouble being accurate in 2020, walking seven batters and hitting two before being optioned off the roster.
