Oliver Ortega, a Dominican professional baseball pitcher with the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball, was born on October 2, 1996.
On February 10, 2015, Ortega signed as an international free agent with the Los Angeles Angels. He pitched for the DSL Angels in 2015, going 1–3 with a 4.33 ERA in 43+23 innings.
