William Penn Murfee, also known as Penn Murfee, is a professional baseball player from the United States. He competes as a pitcher for the Major League Baseball team Seattle Mariners. He stands 1.88 meters tall and weighs 88 kilograms.
John Murfee and Alison Murfee welcomed him into the world on May 2, 1994, in Nashville, Tennessee, in the United States. In the 33rd round of the 2018 Major League Baseball (MLB) draft, the Seattle Mariners selected him. That same year, he made his professional debut with the Everett AquaSox.
He was designated to play for the Modesto Nuts, Arkansas Travelers, and Tacoma Rainiers during the 2019 minor league season. He received the 2019 Mariners minor league “60 ft., 6-in Club” award that year. He participated in Arizona Fall League during the off-season for the Peoria Javelinas.
