Preston Williams is a wide receiver with the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League in American football. He was created on March 27, 1997, in the American city of Lovejoy, Georgia. He played high school football when a student at Lovejoy High School in Lovejoy, Georgia.
After graduating from high school, he played football for the University of Tennessee. During his two seasons of play at Tennessee (2015–2016), he hauled in 16 receptions for 247 yards and two touchdowns.
He attended Colorado State University after transferring, and while playing football for the Colorado State Rams, he resumed his academic studies. Williams signed with the Miami Dolphins in May 2019 as an undrafted free agent. He was added to the 53-player roster. In the Dolphins’ 2019 season opener against the Baltimore Ravens, he made his NFL debut.
He had four receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown reception of 32 yards in Week 5 of the 2020 campaign as they defeated the San Francisco 49ers 43-17. He had a foot injury in November 2020, at which point he was put on injured reserve. In March 2022, he extended his contract with the Dolphins by one year.
