Ronald Bolanos is a Cuban-born Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Kansas City Royals (MLB).

In 2019, he made his Major League Baseball debut for the San Diego Padres. Bolaos was a member of the Cuban National Series team Mayabeque before moving to the United States.

On August 11, 2016, he was signed as an international free agent by the San Diego Padres. Bolanos played for Mayabeque in the Cuban National Series before moving to America.

On August 11, 2016, he became an international free agent with the Padres. Bolaos pitched 69 innings for the Fort Wayne TinCaps in 2017.

In 125 innings with the Lake Elsinore Storm in 2018, he went 6–9. Bolaos split the 2019 season between Lake Elsinore and the Amarillo Sod Poodles, combining it with a 13–7 record and a 3.66 ERA.

For Tim Hill, the Kansas City Royals acquired Bolanos and Frances Cordero in a deal on July 16, 2020.  Bolaos pitched in two games for the 2020 Kansas City Royals, going 0-2 with a 12.27 ERA and two strikeouts in 3.2 innings.

A right forearm injury put Bolanos on the 60-day disabled list on June 18, 2021. On September 12th, Bolanos was reactivated off the injured list.
