Saucedo divided the 2017 season between the High-A Dunedin Blue Jays and Lansing, going 5-3 with a 4.48 ERA in 33 innings pitched.

Saucedo spent the 2018 season between the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Dunedin, posting a 10-9 record with a 4.21 ERA in 26 games.

He pitched for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in 2019, going 8-2 with a 3.61 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 82.1 innings pitched.

Owing to the termination of the minor league season due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Saucedo did not appear in any games in 2020.

To begin the 2021 season, he was promoted to Triple-A Buffalo, where he pitched to a 2–1 record with a 2.20 ERA in 10 appearances.


Saucedo was promoted to the majors for the first time on June 12, 2021, when he was named to the 40-man roster.

On June 17, Saucedo made his Major League Baseball debut, pitching a scoreless inning of relief against the New York Yankees.

He also got his first career strikeout in his debut, striking out Yankees outfielder Miguel Andjar. Saucedo was optioned to Buffalo in September to create place for pitcher Anthony Castro.
