According to Morning Consult’s yearly study of American adults, Patrick Mahomes is the NFL’s most popular skill position player.
According to the statistics, Mahomes received a net favorability rating of 34 after deducting the 7 percent of respondents who had an unfavorable impression of him from the 41 percent of respondents who did.
Patrick Lavon Mahomes II, born on September 17, 1995, plays quarterback for the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs (NFL).
He began playing collegiate football and baseball at Texas Tech University as the son of former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher Pat Mahomes.
He gave up baseball after his sophomore season to concentrate entirely on football. He topped all NCAA Division I FBS players in several categories during his junior year, including passing yards (5,052) and total touchdowns (53).
In the 2017 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected him with the tenth overall pick.
Additionally, he is the third quarterback of African descent to win a Super Bowl. The second-largest known contract in athletic history was signed by Mahomes in 2020 when he agreed to a 10-year agreement worth $477 million, plus a further $26 million in potential bonuses.
He made the Super Bowl again the following season, but this time the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated him 9-31, his first loss by double digits in his NFL career.
