The Washington Commanders have concluded their search for a quarterback. Carson Wentz previously played with the Indianapolis Colts but has since joined the Commanders.

The agreement between the Commanders and the Colts was reported by Adam Schefter. According to Schefter, the Commander will trade a draft pick in the third round for the 2022 NFL draft as well as another draft pick in the third round for the 2023 NFL draft.

Wentz’s entire contract will be handled by the Commanders, who will be in charge of it. The calculations that have been reported indicate that Carson Wentz will earn $28.29 million in 2022, $26.18 million in 2023, and $27.2 million in 2024.
