As a defensive back with the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League, Zayne Anderson. He is 93 kilograms and 1.88 meters tall. As a running back and safety for the high school football team at Stansbury High School, he graduated from there. After high school, he enrolled at Brigham Young University and played NCAA football for the BYU Cougars.

He made three tackles during a freshman in 2015 while playing in eight games, largely on special teams. He participated in each of the 13 games as a sophomore in 2016 and recorded 11 tackles, including six solo. In his final year as a junior in 2017, he played safety. He participated in all 12 games, finished with 61 tackles, including 41 solo stops, and had one interception.

He played in two games in 2019, starting one before suffering an injury, during his medical redshirt year. Despite redshirting for two seasons due to injuries, he participated in 50 games at BYU and racked up 162 tackles in his career.
