Why did the San Diego Chargers move to LA?

Who are the San Diego Chargers?

The San Diego Chargers were a professional American football team that played in San Diego from 1961 until the end of the 2016 season, before relocating to Los Angeles, where the team had played the 1960 season.

The team is currently based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area as the Los Angeles Chargers.

The team is head coached by  Brandon Staley with the general manager of the team being  Tom Telesco while the team is owned by  Dean Spanos.

Why did the San Diego Chargers move to LA?

Apparently, there was more money to be made in Los Angeles. So team owner Dean Spanos fired off a short letter that was distributed at a press conference he decided not to attend.
