Joan Jett, a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer, has stated her admiration for Rock & Roll numerous times since her debut success in 1982. For years, she has expressed her admiration for the Baltimore Orioles.

Jett is best known for her work as the frontwoman of her band Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, as well as for her earlier work in creating and performing with the Runaways, which was responsible for the recording and publishing of the hit song “Cherry Bomb.”



In 1982, Joan Jett became famous for her performance of the song “I Love Rock ‘n Roll” with the band The Blackhearts. This version of the song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for seven consecutive weeks.
