Wil made his professional debut with the GCL Nationals, pitching 3.2 innings and conceding two earned runs before being promoted to the Auburn Doubledays.

In April of 2015, Wil tore the ulnar collateral ligament in his right throwing elbow. Crowe spent the next two years recuperating with fellow Gamecock pitcher Cody Morris.

Crowe resumed throwing on June 1, 2016. Crowe was selected by the Indians again in the 2016 MLB draft, but he did not sign and returned to South Carolina as a redshirt junior.

Wil Crowe’s parents, Tim and Samantha Crowe are baseball players. Tim, his father, was a baseball player at Milligan College. On the other side, little is known about Wil’s mother.

Crowe debuted in Major League Baseball on August 22, 2020, throwing in the second game of a doubleheader against the Miami Marlins.
