Charlie Kolar participates in American football as a tight end for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens. He is 114 kg and 1.98 m tall. He participated in basketball and football when a student at Norman North High School. He caught 52 passes for 920 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior. He had 66 receptions for 1,240 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior, earning him a spot on the first team of the state.

From 2017 to 2021, he played collegiate football for the Iowa Hawkeyes when he was a student at the University of Iowa. During his actual rookie year, Je redshirted. He participated in all 13 of Iowa State’s contests as a redshirt freshman, and he completed the year with 11 receptions for 137 yards and three touchdowns.
