Will Grier Siblings: Meet Skylynn Elizabeth Floyd and John Henry Grier

William Grier is a quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He was born on April 3, 1995, and now plays for the team (NFL).

After playing college football in Florida and West Virginia, the Carolina Panthers selected him in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

His previous team was the West Virginia Mountaineers. As a junior, Grier set a new state record by throwing for 837 yards in a single game.

As a senior, he set a record for North Carolina with 77 touchdown passes and 4,989 yards in the air. Grier made his final decision to attend the University of Florida after also considering Auburn, Arkansas, Florida,

North Carolina, Tennessee, and Wake Forest. As a freshman in 2014, Grier competed with Treon Harris for the role of becoming Jeff Driskel’s backup quarterback.

After testing positive for performance-enhancing substances, he was given a one-year suspension from the team.

On December 19, 2015, Florida disclosed that he intended to change schools and attend a different one going forward.

On April 6, 2016, Grier disclosed that he would be moving on to West Virginia University to continue his education. As a result of NCAA transfer restrictions, he was required to sit out the 2016 season.

At the end of the regular season, Grier was honoured with a spot on the second All-Big 12 Players. After finishing the regular season with an 8–3 record,

the Mountaineers received an invitation to play in the Camping World Bowl.
