Yennier was promoted to the Major Leagues for the first time in 2022 after an outstanding start with St. Paul (1-0, Sv, 1 ER in 12 IP, 6 H, 14 K) which earned him a promotion.

On May 11th, he was introduced into the game in the top of the fourth inning of the Twins game against the Houston Astros at Target Field.

However, before he could throw a pitch to Martin Maldonado, the heavens opened up and a rain delay ensued, causing the umpires to postpone the game. Thus, his name was entered into the record books, but without any statistics for the time being.

The game was planned to resume the next day as part of a doubleheader, therefore it was highly doubtful that he would remain on the list of all-time players for as long as Larry Yount, the only other player to make his debut under comparable conditions.
