South Korean-born American placekicker Younghoe Koo plays for the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons. Koo’s parents are Hyunseo Koo and Seungmae Choi. On August 3, 1994, he was born in Seoul, the nation’s capital.

He used to play soccer, and in a local kicking competition, he took first place. His professional career began in 2017 with the Los Angeles Chargers, but four weeks into the season he was cut after missing back-to-back game-winning kicks.
