He was chosen as an All-Star shortstop in the Carolina League, and Baseball America ranked him as the league’s 15th best prospect (between Mauricio Dubon and Anthony Santander).

He tied for 5th in runs scored with Bradley and Jose Marmolejos, tied for 10th in doubles with Raudy Read, tied for 3rd in triples with Gerson Montilla, tied for 6th in homers with Gerson Montilla, 6th in slugging with Bradley and Wynston Sawyer, and 8th in RBI.

He was tied for 5th in runs scored (between Bradley and Bradley Zimmer) among Indians farmhands, 5th in doubles, 1st in triples, 9th in homers, and 6th in RBI (between Francisco Mejia and Connor Marabell).

He batted.304/.361/.393 with the Mesa Solar Sox in the fall. Except for home homers, he struggled with the Akron Aeros in 2017 (.220/.312/.461, 24 home runs, 25 errors).

With 373 assists, he led the Eastern League in shortstops, was fifth in the EL in homers (behind Mitch Walding and Bradley), and fourth in the Indians’ organization in dingers (between Eric Haase and Bradley).

In 2018, he moved up to AAA and hit.256/.330/.411 with 28 doubles for the Columbus Clippers.
