Zachary Allen Collins was born on February 6, 1995, he is an American Major League Baseball catcher for the Toronto Blue Jays (MLB). He was previously with the Chicago White Sox.

Collins went to American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida, where he met future college teammate Brandon Lopez. He was taken in the 27th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft by the Cincinnati Reds but did not sign; instead, he attended the University of Miami and played college baseball for the Miami Hurricanes.

The Chicago White Sox selected Collins tenth overall in the 2016 Major League Baseball draft. He made his professional debut with the Arizona League White Sox after signing, and was promoted to the Winston-Salem Dash after three games.

He began the 2019 season with the Charlotte Knights. His contract was purchased on June 18, and he was brought up to the main leagues for the first time. Collins made his debut as a pinch hitter against the Cubs, drawing a walk in his only appearance that day. On June 21, 2019, he hit his first major league home run against the Texas Rangers. Collins batted.063 with no home runs and 0 RBIs in 9 games with the 2020 Chicago White Sox.

On April 14, 2021, Collins caught the 20th no-hitter in White Sox history, which Carlos Rodón pitched. On April 3, 2022, Collins was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for Reese McGuire.
