Zack Wheeler Siblings: Meet Adam Wheeler and Jacob Wheeler

Zack Harrison Wheeler is an American professional baseball pitcher. He plays as a left-handed pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball. On May 30, 1990, Wheeler was born in Smryna, U.S, and is currently 31 years old. The pitcher had previously played for the New York Mets between 2013 and 2019.



Wheeler played baseball as a teenager for his school, East Paulding high school. There, he led the school team to a  state playoff appearance in 2009 pitching against Mill Creek High School. Wheeler made his debut when the San Fransisco Giants drafted him in the first round after the match against Mill Creek.

Zack was born into a family who liked to play baseball. His parents Elaine and Barry Wheeler and two older brothers were very keen on the sport baseball. His older brothers Adam Wheeler and Jacob Wheeler were pitchers who played for the Yankees-Mets. Jacob,33, who is the eldest brother had to quit playing as he had a heart condition even before he completed senior High school.



Adam,30, played for the Yankee -Mets for four years before sustaining shoulder and elbow injuries which cut short his career in 2004. Zack had often shared how his brothers had contributed to his success in the world of baseball. They had passed down their knowledge about baseball to Zack which made him feel he was always a step ahead of other kids during games.

My brothers and I are just all close . We grew up together, always played together . I’m playing for them really“.Zack said. It is good news that Jacob has taken a passion for poetry and is working hard to publish some of his works. Adam currently has a construction business he runs.

Zack’s brothers Adam and Jacob and their parents are very supportive of his career and often make trips to watch and cheer him on his matches.
