In June of that year, he agreed to a four-year rookie contract with the Eagles. He won the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week award in Week 1 of the 2022 season after making two special teams tackles and recovering an unexpected onside kick attempt in a 38-35 victory over the Detroit Lions.
