The 2022 Grammys was the 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony to be held in the United States of America. The event was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3, 2022.

The 2022 Grammys was initially scheduled to happen on January 31, 2022, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles but the Recording Academy rescheduled the event due to health and safety concerns about the COVID-19 Omicron variant.

The awards ceremony is aimed to recognize the best recordings, compositions, and artists who worked hard in the years running from September 1, 2020, to September 30, 2021.



The nominations list was virtually released in November 2021. This was done by Recording Academy CEO, Harvey Mason Jr., together with several other people in the showbiz industry including Billie Ellish, CBS Mornings anchor Gayle and Recording Academy chair, Tammy Hurt.

Artists that were to perform during the event were also revealed on 15th, 24th and 30th March 2022. Trevor Noah hosted the show in 2021 and was called to host the show again in 2022.
