Andy Goram, a former Scotland national team goalie, is well-known in the sport.
When he was a goalkeeper for Rangers in the 1990s, he was dubbed “The Goalie” because of the nickname he earned during his time at Oldham Athletic and Hibernian.
After the Rangers won the Stanley Cup in 2001, fans selected Goram as their favorite goalkeeper ever.
There are 43 international games in which Goram has played for Scotland, including both the 1986 and 1990 World Cups, as well as the 1992 and 1996 UEFA European Championships.
In the years following his time with Rangers, he played for several different clubs, including Motherwell and Manchester United on loan. Goram was a cricketer for Scotland, as well.

Meet Jackie Taylor
The first spouse of Andy Goram was Jackie Taylor. Andy Goram married Taylor in 1985. The marriage lasted for just a year.
Jackie Taylor returned to using her maiden name when she and Goram broke up 12 years ago after being married for a year. She does, however, continue to have friendly contact with the goalie.
Jackie, a resident of Rochdale, Lancashire, claimed that the contentious goalkeeper immediately picked up the phone and called his son as soon as Sir Alex Ferguson approached him.
She added that their kid convinced the grandfather to take advantage of the chance.
Jackie, who never remarried, added, “Andy called Danny to see what he thought. “Delighted” isn’t a powerful enough term.
