Robb Hanrahan was an American television journalist who was born Robert John Hanrahan on April 11, 1962. He had previously worked as a newscaster for WHP-TV, the CBS station in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Robb passed away on April 11, 2018.
He was well-known for his role as host of the political program Face the Nation. After a career spanning more than three decades in journalism, the presenter started working for CBS 21 in the year 2010.
During the course of his career, Robb worked as a local journalist in New York City and reported on the events of September 11. Robb passed away on July 3, 2022, however, the circumstances surrounding his passing are not currently known.
In 2021, just a few months after suffering a severe heart attack, he took his retirement from the CBS network. In June of 2020, he went into cardiac arrest, and he later referred to it as the “most deep, enlightening experience” that he’s ever had in his life.
He stated in an interview with Penn Live that there were five medical professionals surrounding him at the time of his initial arrest.
