Jake Elliot is an American football placekicker for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Memphis.
Elliott, who went to Lyons Township High School in La Grange, Illinois, started playing football after an assistant coach at Lyons saw his potential at a Homecoming student field goal kicking contest. Elliott’s high school was known for its strong football program.
Prior to this, he had spent the previous three years competing in tennis at Lyons Township.
Before beginning his junior year, he had already been recognized as a first-team All-State selection by the Chicago Tribune and as an ESPNHS underclassman.
During his junior year, he kicked a field goal from 52 yards out with no time left on the clock to secure a 16–14 victory over Oak-Park River Forest High School.
As a senior, he kicked field goals in 15 of the 21 attempts, earning him a spot on the second team of kickers for Kohl’s All-America List.
Following the completion of his senior season, both the University of North Dakota and the University of Memphis made Elliott an offer for a full athletic scholarship.
The Memphis Tigers were his team of choice to play for.
Who Is Jake Elliott’s Girlfriend?
Jake Elliot married his girlfriend Annie Timyan. Annie has just recently completed all of the requirements for her master’s degree.
She graduated both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University, making her a double Tiger alum.
Her most recent status update to her professional profile stated that she was still at the school and working as a Graduate Assistant there.
It is possible that she will choose to remain in Philadelphia for the remainder of the semester given that Jake’s season will go long past the winter break.
Annie and Jake’s relationship is one that is openly celebrated and supported by both of them. She unquestionably rejoices in all of his victories on the field, and he unquestionably brags about her off of the field as well.
