Marshall William Faulk born on February 26, 1973, is a retired American football running back who spent 13 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams in the National Football League (NFL). He was a two-time consensus All-American in collegiate football at San Diego State.
He was the second overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, with whom he spent five seasons before joining the Rams for his final eight seasons.
Only three NFL players have accumulated at least 10,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards, and Faulk is the only one with 12,000 rushing yards and 6,000 receiving yards. Until December 2017, he also worked as an analyst for the NFL Network on a variety of shows. In 2011, Faulk was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and in 2017, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
