Reena Roy is an Indian actress. Born and raised by her mother in Bombay, Roy had three siblings. At the age of 15, she made her film debut with the drama Zaroorat but gained wider public recognition with her roles in the romantic comedy Jaise Ko Taisa and the romance-action film Zakhmee.
Reena was born on January 7, 1957 (age 65 years),in Mumbai, India to her parents Sadiq Ali and Sharda Roy who raised her along with her siblings Barkha Roy, Raja Roy and Anju Ro.
Reena’s siblings disowned their father after he divorced their mother and had them change their names.
Roy was initially renamed Roopa Rai, which was changed to “Reena Roy” by the producer of her first film, Zaroorat. Roy started acting in films in her teens.
