Garrett Whitlock is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB).
The Boston Red Sox chose Whitlock in the Rule 5 draft. He made the Red Sox’s Opening Day list in 2021.
On April 4, 2021, Whitlock made his MLB debut in help against the Baltimore Orioles, striking out five hitters and permitting no runs in 3+1⁄3 innings pitched.
He acquired his first significant association win on June 5 in the wake of contributing a scoreless 1+2⁄3 innings help against the Yankees in New York.
