Victor Caratini is a Puerto Rican professional baseball catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Chicago Cubs and San Diego Padres.
The Atlanta Braves selected Miami Dade College outfielder Nick Caratini in the second round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft.
That year, he debuted for the Danville Braves of the independent leagues. In 2014, Caratini was mostly a catcher after predominantly playing third base in his rookie season. With the Rome Braves, he began the season.
For Caratini, the Atlanta Braves dealt Emilio Bonifacio and James Russell to the Chicago Cubs on July 31. As a result, he was sent out to the Kane County Cougars, where he closed out his rookie campaign.
Caratini batted in 2015 for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans of the American Association. As many as 257 hits, with four homers and 53 RBIs on the season
