Corey Ray is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021.
At No. 5 overall, Milwaukee Brewers drafted Ray from the University of Oklahoma in 2016.
With the Brevard County Manatees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Class A Midwest League, he slugged five home runs, 17 RBI, and ten stolen bases in 60 games.
A Class A-Advanced Carolina League member in 2017, Ray batted.238 with seven home runs, 48 RBIs, and 24 stolen bases in 112 games with the Carolina Mudcats.
He was a member of the Class AA Southern League’s Biloxi Shuckers for the 2018 season. With 27 home runs, 74 runs batted in, and 37 stolen bases, he was named the Southern League’s Most Valuable Player.
A season-ending injury sidelined Ray for most of the 2019 campaign with the Class AAA San Antonio Missions. San Antonio’s 53-game season ended with a batting average of .188 and seven home runs.
