Trevor Strnad, the leader singer of the Death Metal Band ‘the Black Dahlia Murder has passed away at the age of 41. The announcement was made by the band members about the passing of their leader Strnad through a post from their official Instagram Account yesterday, May 11, 2022.
The post which read “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Scott Strnad. Beloved Son, brother and shepherd of good times, he was loved by all who met him. A walking encyclopedia of music.” was posted on Wednesday with fans pouring in their condolences to his friends and family.
The band did not state the cause of the death of the late singer but we are waiting for the statement of his family if they will mention the main cause of his death. However, the band ended the post with a phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
In 2002, The Black Dahlia band was formed by Strnad(singer), Brian Eshbach (guitarist), Bassist David Lock, and Drummer Cory Grady in Waterford, Michigan. They released their first song in that year which was entitled “A Cold-Blooded Epitaph”.The band made its official debut in 2003 with 8 albums that year.
They started to perform on stages in America and Europe and soon grew popular, with one of their successful albums being “Deflorate ” in 2009.
Strnad did his last album with the group in 2020 titled “Verminous” and it was released in April.
