The Center for Budget and Policy Priorities, the Constitutional Accountability Center, and Health Leads are among the organizations that have received support from the organization.
The organization gave $385,000 to the Society of Environmental Journalists in the mid-2010s to help them develop new environmental journalism posts for High Country News and the Los Angeles Times.
From 2014 to 2017, the group made annual contributions to Georgetown University’s Center for Children and Families.
The organization has given to the Beyeler Foundation, a Riehen, Switzerland-based art museum, and offered cash towards a proposed extension of the museum in 2016.
Global Fishing Watch, a five-year research largely funded by Wyss, was published in Science in 2.018.
