Jacob Lemoine is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). Rangers scout Bob Laurie signed Jacob Lemoine to his first professional contract. He graduated high school in 2012 from Bridge City High School.
As a senior at Bridge City High School, he has been voted the 2012 Beaumont Enterprise Super-Gold Baseball Player of the Year. He went on to study at the University of Houston.
His junior season was cut short by a shoulder injury suffered in March of 2015. Jacob was a member of USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team in 2014 and appeared in five games, four of which he started, as a starter.
