In April 2011, Trouble released his debut mixtape, on December 17th. Compilation magazine named it one of the best mixtapes of the year. On Bussin, which included the likes of Yo Gotti, Waka Flocka Flame, and Trae Tha Truth, he teamed up with other rappers.

Complex highlighted Mariel in its August 2011 list of 15 New Rappers To Watch Out For. As a matter of fact, he was listed as one of the “15 Atlanta Rappers You Should Know in 2013” by XXL Magazine.

On Lupe Fiasco’s 2015 album Tetsuo & Youth, he appeared on the track “Chopper.” Along with Glasses Malone and Trae Tha Truth, Billy Blue and Buk were all featured in the song.

The album was well-received by the public and ranked 14th on the Billboard 200 in the United States.
