Tylor Megill is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021. He pitched five innings of a combined no-hitter in April 2022.
Julie and Kevin Megill welcomed their first child, Megill, into the world on July 28, 1995, in Long Beach, California. He was a pitcher for the baseball team at Los Alamitos High School.
He enrolled at Loyola Marymount University, where he played collegiate baseball, and was not selected in the 2014 MLB draft.
In his rookie year of 2015, he threw 57 innings and was 6-3 with a 3.95 ERA in his first year of college. When he finished his freshman year, he transferred to Cypress College, where he pitched in 17 games in 2016, going 11-3 with a 3.72 ERA (16 starts).

Over 32+3 innings, he had an earned run average of 4.73, with 38 strikeouts, and six saves as a senior last year. During the 2018 Major League Baseball draft, he was taken by New York Mets in the 8th round.
