Abby Steiner attended Dublin Coffman High School in Dublin, Ohio, where she grew up. She is a well-known track and field sprinter and a Human Health Sciences major at the University of Kentucky.

Abby Steiner, a senior sprinter for the University of Kentucky, ran the sixth-fastest 100-meter dash in collegiate history in 10.92 seconds and the fastest 200m with a headwind over 1.7 m/s in NCAA history during the Joe May Invitational at Louisiana State University.

Abby Steiner Olympic Records

At the LSU-hosted Joe May Invitational 2022 on Saturday, Abby Steiner of Kentucky ran a world-leading 10.92 in the women’s 100m and then ran 22.38 into a -5.6 m/s in the 200m.

Steiner, who is coming off an outstanding indoor season in which she set the NCAA 200m record, continued her impressive indoor form into her outdoor season, breaking 11 seconds for the first time in her career with a strong finish.
