Akeem Oluwashegun Omolade was a Nigerian professional footballer who began his football career in 2000. Akeem was born on March 4, 1983, in Kaduna in Nigeria. He died at the age of 39 in Palermo in Italy on Monday, June 13, 2022. 



Akeem was 1.76 m tall. He grew up in Nigeria and left to settle in Italy when he was 17 years old. His first professional team was Associazione Calcio Dilettanti Treviso, which is an Italian football club in Treviso. He made his professional debut for them in the Serie B league. In 2001, he joined Torino football club with whom he made his Serie A debut.

Akeem left Torino in 2003, after which he went on to play in the lower leagues of Italian football. He played for Novara, Biellese, Reggiana, Gela, Barletta and Vibonese from 2003 to 2010.  During the football season, he moved to Sicily where he joined Mazara Calcio A.S.D.

The following year, he played in Serie D for Ribera in 1954. He spent 2013 with Mazara and 2014 with Borgata Terranova. Akeem played for the Altofonte club in 2016 and left in 2017.

Akeem Omolade Cause Of Death

The football player was found dead inside a car in Italy on 13 June 2022. The cause of his has not yet been revealed. Any information will be updated here.
