Alvin Mentian Kamara is an American football running back for the New Orleans of the National Football League. He is 26 years of age 5ft 10 in height and weighs 215 Ib. He was born on July 25, 1995, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Alvin Kamara commenced his football career at Norcross High School for the Blue Devils football team and proceeded to play college football at the University of Alabama. He was transferred to the Hutchinson Community College in Kansas for his redshirt freshman season.
He was also transferred to the University Of Tennessee to play under head coach Butch Jones and he was finally drafted by the New Orleans Saints in his third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Kamara was the first running Back in NFL history to have at least 500 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in each of his first 4 seasons, and the most rushing touchdowns in a single game, 6 tied with Erne Nevers. In 2017, He was named the NFL Rookie of the year. He has also been recorded to be a Pro Bowler in all his five NFL seasons and a two-time second-team All-Pro.
