The role of twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap opera Another World (1987–1991) earned Anne Celeste Heche (May 25, 1969–August 12, 2022) a Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Opera Digest Awards. She was an American actor.



With parts in the criminal drama Donnie Brasco (1997), the catastrophe movie Volcano (1997), the slasher movie I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), the action comedy Six Days, Seven Nights (1998), and the drama-thriller Return to Paradise (1998), she gained more notoriety in the late 1990s (1998).

After receiving a Saturn Award nomination for her performance as Marion Crane in Gus Van Sant’s horror remake Psycho (1998), Heche went on to play supporting roles in a number of well-regarded independent movies, including Birth (2004), Spread (2009), Cedar Rapids (2011), Rampart (2011), and Catfight (2012).



She drew praise for her work on Broadway, particularly Twentieth Century, for which she received a Tony Award nomination, as well as for her performance in the television movie Gracie’s Choice, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.

In addition to her work in movies, Heche has acted in the television comedies Men in Trees (2006–2008), Hung (2009–2011), Save Me (2013), Aftermath (2016), and the war drama The Brave (2017).

She participated in Dancing with the Stars 29th season and provided the voice of Suyin Beifong in the animated television series The Legend of Korra (2014).

Her relatives disclosed that she had been removed from life support, indicating that she had passed away (according to  The Guardian). She is survived by her two sons, Atlas Heche Tupper and Homer Laffoon, per Fox News.
