Taylor Allen Rogers, an American pitcher with the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball, was born on December 17, 1990. (MLB. For the Minnesota Twins, he made his major league debut in 2016, and in 2021, he was selected to the All-Star Game.

Rogers played for the Elizabethton Twins and the Beloit Snappers in his first season as a professional after signing with the Twins. He has a 4.33 ERA in 15 games (ten starts) for both organizations.

He spent the remainder of the season with Minnesota after being promoted on May 17; in 57 relief appearances, he was 3-1 with a 3.96 ERA.

With the Twins for the whole 2017 season, Rogers pitched to a 7-3 record, a 3.07 ERA, a 1.31 WHIP, and 30 holds in 55+2/3 innings pitched.

The next year, Rogers pitched for Minnesota in 72 games, compiling a 1-2 record in 68+13 innings. Before being appointed as the closer in 2019, Rogers served as the setup player.

He had an ERA of 2.61, 90 strikeouts in 69 innings, and 30 saves in 36 chances. In 21 games in 2020, Rogers had a 2-4 record, a 4.05 ERA, and 9 saves.

Rogers was selected for the 2021 All-Star Game on July 12, 2021.

The Twins dealt Rogers, Brent Rooker, and cash to the San Diego Padres on April 7, 2022, in exchange for Chris Paddack, Emilio Pagán, and a future player.
